Love in Action – Uganda

Love in Action is a Christian organisation that seeks to demonstrate God’s love in practical ways, by providing support, education and care for orphans and needy families in Uganda, especially those families affected by HIV/AIDS. Love in Action was founded in April 2004 by Alan and Beryl Went, from Colchester, UK and they now live in Masaka, Uganda.

As a company we have decided to support Love in Action by raising money through organising events, offering a percentage of product sales (at specific times) and customer donations. All the money we raise will go directly to Love in Action and will be ploughed straight into it’s work.

New Projects Complete

Since the launch of The Parables 2 we have been hard at work on two comissioned projects which we have now fininshed.

The first was a series of short animations for the Methodist Church youth event Breakout 2010. We designed a character called Bob and then animated him pulling different themes onto the screen. We also created a 2 minute film where God is trying to contact Bob on his mobile but Bob is a bit reluctant to answer. If you were at Breakout 2010 and saw the animations please comment below as let us know what you thought.

The second project was a series of short animations for next years Scripture Union holiday club pack. Working with LBC Productions we created over 20 short animations which will be used as visual cut in’s to help bring the story to life.

We are now focused on pre-production for our next DVD, details to be annoucned very soon!

The Parables 2 – Out Now!

After 11 months of hard work The Parables 2 is officially released today, how exciting. The DVD contains six new short animations starring Brian, Vincent and Phil. The films are based on the parables of The Prodigal Son, The Great Banquet, The Sower, The Unmerciful Servant, The Persistent Widow and The Good Samaritan.

We hope you enjoy the DVD and find it really useful. Don’t forget to download the free teaching pack which is filled with ideas to help you make the most of the films and inspire your creativity.

Christian Resources Exhibition

Are you planning on attending the Christian Resources Exhibition at Sandown, Esher this year? If so please pop along to stand P11 and say hello to us! It would be great to meet you and put a face to the name. We will be showing The Parables 2 as well as selling all our products.

We are holding a little bash to celebrate the launch of our next DVD ‘The Parables 2′. So please come along and enjoy a cuppa tea and a few biscuits. You will be able to watch all the films from the new DVD, read the new teaching pack and meet the creators (there may even be a special offer!).

We are pleased to announce that The Parables 2 DVD will officially be released on Saturday May 8th 2010. We have now finished the animation on the final film and have moved into post production. You will be able to pre-order The Parables 2 DVD from April 12th 2010 only at taylormation.co.uk.
